OVERVIEW OF NOVEL IDEA'S SIX SIGMA SERVICES
Four Key Components
Novel Idea consists of four components.
These components can be thought of as three arms
or divisions. They are a Training and development
Business, a Consulting Practice, Six Sigma
Collaborater (Project Management Software for Six
Sigma and toolkits for everyone involved in
Six Sigma).
Training
and development Business
We offer a wide range of comprehensive training
programs that cater for all levels of knowledge
requirements ranging from Six Sigma DMAIC
(Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control),
DFSS (Design for Six Sigma), Lean Sigma, Change
Management, Strategic Alignment, Balance Scorecards,
Capacity Management, Integrated People Management
and Train the Trainer courses.
We also offer coaching, assessment, moderation of
projects as well as certification. Novel Idea’s
Six Sigma Courses are accredited with the Service
Seta. Two of the courses Six Sigma Black Belt(BB)
and Six Sigma Green Belt (GB) courses are Accredited
National Certificates in Generic Management NQF
level 5. Both these two Qualifications are registered
learnerships.
Novel Idea is an Accredited Provider with the Service
Seta. Novel Idea's Assessors are registered Assessors
with the Service Seta as well as Chieta. Our Public
programs for Master Black Belt and Black Belts are
run at the State of the art SAB Miller Training
facility in Kyalami.

Practise
Novel Idea Consulting will assess your business
for Six Sigma readiness and offer best fit deployment
solutions. Novel Idea Consulting will guide your

Novel Idea offers customised planning for small,
medium and large deployments of DMAIC, DFSS, and
Lean Sigma including financial assessments, planning,
and infrastructure design, Strategy alignment and
resources selection.

Novel Idea Business offers those businesses that
wish to explore the Six Sigma philosophy, but are
not in a position to invest in additional resources,
an opportunity to do so. The Novel Idea Business
offers project management services and Master Black
Belts and Black Belts for “hire”.

A unit of the Novel Idea Research and Development
Department constantly analyzes feedback from users
in order to optimally allocate the development resources
