Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt is a professional who is well versed in the foundational elements of the Lean Six Sigma Problem Solving Methodology, who leads improvement or problem solving projects and / or serves as a team member as a part of more complex improvement projects lead by a Green Belt or Black Belt.

After completing the Green Belt Hands on Experiential learning Programme the Green Belt have successfully applied the Methodology to a Case study.

Green Belts being Strategic and or Operational Resources need to work on cross- functional projects that are crucial to the business. Green Belts are selected from management and supervisory level employees and are developed to deliver results through the utilisation and combination of world-class methodologies, and tools to get the BEST results FAST.

Green Belts will successfully apply this methodology and tools in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt projects and is expected to deliver the agreed benefits of a Six Sigma project to the organization. These improvement activities will often be within the Green Belt’s usual field of employment and operation. Green Belt participants receive a thorough exposure to the tools and methods that are necessary to successfully contribute to DMAIC improvement projects.
The orgnisation may choose to develop the Green Belts to coach Yellow Belts.
